I worked on this while we were in Bullhead City, Arizona March 2012. All paper pieced and I love it.

Wall hanging made for Alicia with fabric from Africa
Alicia went to Africa and brought back this fabric. She asked me to make her a quilt to remember her trip. I have to admit when I first saw the fabric i was clueless and overwhelmed by the color and pattern. I sure am happy with the final quilt and Alicia is too.

JESSE WENT TO DOGGY HEAVEN
We took Jesse to the vet today because she is falling down, her breathing is labored and she has a cough. We knew it was time for her to go but I was really hoping for a new drug to give us more time with her. It was not to be. I have a huge hole in my heart for missing her. I hope she is running around playing and eating to her hearts content!!!!! I love you Jesse

BABY QUILT FOR LUCIA PREGLER
This little quilt was so fun to construct and quilt. I picked up the fabric and pattern while I was in Grand Rapids for the AQS Quilt show. I started piecing it at the Craft Weekend at Fullers North Branch Outing Club in September. It is not finished a minute too soon since the parents to be are coming up this weekend.

The quilt made during my mom's illness and passing
My mom got to see the beginning of this being made. I hand pieced it totally while sitting with my mom during the wonderful hours that I will always cherish before her passing away. Sure miss you big time mom. And I am so glad that I have this quilt to enjoy it and the memories.
